Tucked away in the scenic countryside of Townsend, Tennessee, Harper’s Vineyard was the perfect setting for a romantic May wedding full charm and laughter, despite the gloomy weather. As a Knoxville wedding photographer, I had the joy of capturing every heartfelt moment of Amanda and Gui’s special day — from their emotional ceremony to elegant portraits among the vines. Ceremony In Front of the Tennessee Mountains

Set against the rolling hills and lush vineyards of East Tennessee, the ceremony at Harper’s Vineyard was nothing short of magical. Amanda and Gui exchanged heartfelt vows beneath a simple wooden arbor adorned with seasonal florals. Gui’s family is actually from Brazil, so they read their vows twice, once in English and once in Portuguese! As a Knoxville wedding photographer, I get to see a ton of different wedding cultures and each wedding is different. This was the first time I’ve photographed a bi-lingual wedding and it was so fun. The love between these two was palpable, and the vineyard setting brought an effortlessly romantic charm to their “I do’s.”

With the groom’s family traveling from Brazil, guests were treated to lively Brazilian traditions that brought a unique and festive spirit to the evening. From rhythmic dancing and spontaneous singalongs to heartfelt toasts and group celebrations, the party felt like a true fusion of two families and cultures. The dance floor stayed packed all night, with music that had everyone on their feet. This reception was more than a party — it was a celebration of love, culture, and connection.
